My Webtoon

Multichrome

Welcome to the world of Colorem, where everyone has magical powers that correspond to their hair color. But Chroma is different from the others--he has five different colors in his hair, meaning five different types of powers. Controlling his powers is a challenge for him, until a new girl with lightning powers comes along to teach him the good he can do with them.Multichrome is my entry to the Short Story Contest hosted by Webtoon in 2020! As it's a short story, it is only five episodes long, but it explores Chroma's journey through self-discovery and healing from grief. I took a lot of my own experiences with grief and anxiety and created a narrative that demonstrates how I have dealt with that in my own life. Now this Webtoon is pretty old by now, so you'll have to excuse the shaky art. It was my first Webtoon after all, so the scuff is definitely noticeable. And also the fact that I only had 3 months to make it (completely start to finish--the only previously existing character before I started was Chroma himself), I was definitely rushed. However I plan on revamping it one day and adding new scenes that didn't make it into the final version! There's so many things about the world of Colorem that I would love to explore with you all, and so many characters I want you all to meet!

FAQ

Q: Is Multichrome going to return?
A: Yes! Just not yet. I plan to continue the story in a full length story one day! Unfortunately that day is still a long ways away (since when I made the Webtoon I didn't even know I would continue it!), but there are more projects in the works until then ;) Follow my social medias for more info about future projects and more Multichrome content! <3Q: How on earth did you make a Webtoon start to finish in 3 months?
A: Idk I'm still pretty stumped about that one lol--I did get addicted to coffee within that time though. Hopefully my future projects can be a little more chill lol.Q: Where can I read Multichrome?
A: You can find it on Webtoon! It's linked on the Home page of this card.Q: iS tHaT rAiNbOw DaSh??
A: ...No. 👁👁
